Lets Build is a family run not for profit project. The intention is to create a safe space for our children and friends to play Minecraft together.

My name is Mark, AKA _LetsBuildMC_ and over the past 20 years I have worked within the arts and cultural sector facilitating arts workshops and community engagement programs. Lets Build is a new personal project born from my recent work with my local council.

I started using Minecraft with children in 2011 after requests from the local kids who came to afternoon hangout sessions I was running at our community centre. We developed some awesome projects and I got to see how useful Minecraft can be when used in a facilitated workshop environment. Since then I have developed a suite of projects for local government that engage children and young people with public art, town planning, heritage and place making.

Lets Build aims to offer workshops and programs that the kids want to engage in. It’s all for fun and there may even be a bit of learning woven through the programs. I hope there is something interesting  for you or your little ones and if there isn’t, let me know!
